Nick Saban Shakes Off Retirement Rumors After Texas Lost In Week 2

Fans were convinced that Nick Saban would retire after a huge loss to Texas in the Week 2 game.

However, Crimson Tide Head Coach Nick Saban shook off all the retirement rumors in a recent media interview.

Alabama lost against Texas 24-34, which made Crimson Tide fall from no. 3 to no. 15 in AP Collge Football ranking.

The old Nick would probably be an angry bird while talking to the media after a game loss. But this new Nick turned all into an opportunity and seemed grateful to be a part of an incredible game.

In an Interview Saban said,

“It’s a privilege to play in games like this. It’s a privilege to play at the University of Alabama. It’s a privilege to play where you have such great tradition, and it’s a privilege to play where you have such great fan support. We really appreciate it.”

That’s new coming from Alabama’s coach.

Nick will at some point say goodbye to his longtime coaching career and retire from his Alabama Head coach position.

For now, Saban doesn’t look like he will retire anytime soon.

This is just one loss for Alabama. Still, there are plenty of games left for the Crimson Tide to come back in the Top Five in AP College Football season ranking.
