This week Tyler Buchner is going to be the no. 1 QB for the Crimson Tide. Buchner has experience running offensive coordinator Tommy Rees’ offense. They spent two years together at Notre Dame.
In his brief action with the Fighting Irish, Buchner had 949 passing yards, six touchdowns, and eight interceptions.
There is nothing that officially comes from Nick Saban but he did make it clear that he needs consistency under center.
In Week 3 Alabama is set to face off with South Florida at 3:30 p.m. ET.
