Nick Saban Explains Alabama Quarterback Situation Ahead Of Week 3 Game
Nick Saban had a very simple explanation for Alabama’s quarterback situation ahead of the Week 3 game vs South Florida.
After Alabama’s upset loss against Texas, Nick Saban changed their Qb from Jalen Milroe to Tyler Buchner. Everyone questioned Saban’s decision over the Crimson Tide’s quarterback situation.
In Saturday’s pregame interview, Saban broke the silence on Alabama’s QB situation and gave a very simple answer to the question.
Via 247Sports, Saban said,
“He’s a very bright guy, “He’s very athletic. He makes good decisions. He makes quick decisions. He gets the ball out of his hand. He’s accurate with the ball. Hopefully, we’ll be able to have a little more diversity in what we’ll do, and he’ll offer us the opportunity to be able to execute those things.”
Saturday Game will be Buchner’s first as a starting quarterback at Alabama after transferring from Notre Dame.
Buchner played in three games for Notre Dame last year and compiled 378 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions.
We will see how much Nick Saban’s decision is right about Buchner. The game between Alabama and South Florida is set for 3:30 p.m. ET.
