NFL Experts On Trade Kirk Cousins For Jets After Aaron Rodgers Injury

Some NFL experts gave a notable quarterback Vikings Kirk Cousins trade for the Jets after they lost their star QB Aaron Rodgers due to a torn Achilles injury.

To be honest, not a bad idea. why?

Well, the first Minnesota Vikings reportedly considering 2023 as their quarterback Kirk’s last season.

Second, the Jets coach Roberts Saleh made Zach Wilson the first quarterback for New York for the rest of the season. However, the Jets’ officials will consider replacing Wilson at some point with the first-class quarterback.

After Aaron Rodgers, the Jets quarterback position has been a topic of the sports world. Kirk Cousins might not be as good as Rodgers but he is considered a top-ten NFL quarterback.

Minnesota Vikings are 0-2 to start the year and lost their second match against the Eagles on Thursday. During the game, several people brought up Kirk Cousins as the Jets’ Potential quarterback this year.

Jake Asman wrote, “I’m rooting for Zach Wilson but if Kirk Cousins is available closer to the trade deadline on an expiring contract, it’s an option the #Jets have to consider if Wilson is holding the team back.”

“The Jets need to be on the phone for Kirk Cousins right now,” Jeff Bell said. 

ESPN’s Kimberley Martin said the Jets aren’t trying to make a blockbuster trade at the moment.
