NFL Draft Analyst Mel Kiper Jr. On Shedeur Sanders Game With Colorado
Mel Kiper Jr. is considered one of the best NFL draft analysts. ESPN analyst Mel Kiper said so many great things about the Shedeur Sanders.
Colorado star QB Shedeur Sanders has mesmerized the college football world with his excellent sports in week 1 and week 2 games. Kiper who has been appearing on ESPN’s annual NFL draft coverage since 1984, is also become impressed with Deion Sanders’ son.
Kiper believes that Shedeur is certainly a is a legitimate first-round prospect.
Via On3 reports, Kiper said,
“It was a wait-and-see, coming from Jackson State to Colorado, how would Shedeur Sanders, how would his team adapt, how would they perform? They’ve been unbelievable.”
He continued with Shedeur’s playing methods and his accuracy is unbelievably good.
“Shedeur Sanders, to me right now, is a guaranteed high first-round pick. I think when you look at the way he’s played at Colorado, in this Sean Lewis offense, the accuracy has been unbelievable. He was at 68 percent at Jackson State those two years. He’s at 77.5. Hasn’t thrown an interception. He had nine rushing touchdowns in two years at Jackson State. He can roll right or left. He can make accurate throws. He throws a great ball. He’s unflappable. He looks like he’s in control at all times. You don’t know if they’re up or down, how they’re performing. It doesn’t matter.”
According to the Kiper, after Sanders, there comes the USC Trojans quarterback Caleb Williams. And on No. 3 North Carolina Tar Heels QB Drake Maye.
Kiper believed that Shedeur could be a No. 1 overall pick in 2025 in his senior year of Football.
“If he[Shedeur] stays at Colorado, we’ll be talking about him next summer like we’re talking about Caleb Williams right now – No. 1 pick guaranteed. So he’s got a decision to make. We’ve gotta be excited with everything we’ve seen right now, with not only this football team but particularly Shedeur Sanders. What a quarterback he is.”
It is no doubt that Shedeur has incredible potential and under the right direction of Deion Sanders he will have a great NFL career.
