NFL Declines to Comment on Assault Accusations Against Tyreek Hill
Tyreek Hill, a wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, has been accused of assaulting a man who works at the Haulover Marina in Miami. The man claims that Hill slapped him on the back of his head, but he has decided not to press charges at this time.
The Miami-Dade Police Department is currently investigating the incident. When Pro Football Talk asked the NFL for a comment about the situation, the league chose not to say anything.

Even if Hill is not charged with a crime, the NFL can still look into the incident on their own time. In the past, Hill had legal troubles during his college days, but the league didn’t punish him after he admitted guilt for charges related to an incident involving his then-girlfriend, who was pregnant at the time.
Considering this recent incident and Hill’s history, the NFL might decide to take disciplinary action now that they have jurisdiction over him.
Hill requested a trade from the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022. After that, he joined his current team Miami Dolphins. In his first season with the Dolphins, he had an impressive performance, setting new records for receptions and yards. He has expressed his goal of reaching the 2,000-yard mark in the upcoming season.
