New Updates on Arrest Warrant For Ex-Ohio State Star
Darron Lee, an American football linebacker has been issued an arrest warrant for domestic violence and assault. Lee, who was a former football player for the Ohio State Buckeyes and was drafted by the New York Jets in 2016, did not show up in court to face charges.
Earlier this year, Lee was arrested for allegedly assaulting both his mother and the mother of his child. The mother of his child called the police and reported that Lee was attacking his mother. She saw him standing over his mother with a closed fist. Later, the mother reported that Lee punched her multiple times in the head.
According to the mother of Lee’s child, in a separate incident in 2022, Lee threw a cell phone at her, hitting her in the head and causing her ear to bleed.
The arrest warrant states that Lee did not appear in court in Franklin County, Ohio to address the allegations and charges against him.
Lee was a part of the Ohio State Buckeyes national championship team in 2015. He was named the defensive MVP of the Sugar Bowl that year when Ohio State defeated Alabama and went on to win the national title by defeating the Oregon Ducks.
