New Orleans Saints Will Have 2 New Wide Receivers in Their Ranks
Derek Carr, a prominent American football quarterback for NFL had joined the Saints and his new team seems to have high hopes for him. They want to give him the best and surrounded him with talents to have more success with them than he did with the Raiders.
To accomplish this Saints have recruited a pair of receivers for him to work with.
Field Yates, an ESPN insider reported that the Saints have traded wide receivers Lynn Bowden and Keke Coutee in the place of Yasir Durant, Malik Flowers, and SaRodorick Thompson.
Bowden has some experience working with Carr. He was with the Raiders during the 2020 offseason before being traded to the Miami Dolphins. In his rookie season, he played for the Dolphins and caught 28 passes for 211 yards.
Coutee had a successful time with the Houston Texans from 2018 to 2020. He made 83 catches for 941 yards and four touchdowns in 23 games. However, in the last two seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, he only had two catches in 10 games.
The New Orleans Saints already have two great wide receivers in Michael Thomas and Chris Olave. If they can find the right players to fill the slot position and add depth to their roster, they could become a very dangerous team.
So, the question is, will the Saints have the most productive group of receivers in the NFC South this year?
