New England Patriots’ Matthew Judon had an interesting adventure before his game against the New York Jets. He went on a hunt to get back his lost wallet, which he left on the side of a highway.

In a funny Instagram Story video he shared on Monday, Judon jokingly blamed his teammate, Marcus Jones, for the wallet mishap, playfully calling him a “dumb—.” But things took a turn when he revealed that he managed to locate his wallet using an Apple AirTag, a nifty tracking device.

Judon shared, “He put my wallet on top of a car. But the AirTag saved me. I was almost at work, but I had to turn back and find it.”

Judon also talked to reporters, as reported by NESN’s Dakota Randall, where he spoke about his trust in the AirTag. He playfully called on Jones to share his side of the story and speculated that the 24-year-old cornerback might have been in a hurry.

But Judon clarified, “That wasn’t the worst thing you can do to me. It was just kind of a funny story, and we laughed about it when I got home. But I am thankful that I got my wallet back.”

This isn’t the first time Judon has lost his wallet. In June, he admitted that he often misplaces his Louis Vuitton wallet, which led him to buy an AirTag. This tiny device turned out to be a lifesaver for the 31-year-old athlete.

Now with his wallet safe, Judon can concentrate on the upcoming AFC East game against the New York Jets this Sunday, knowing that his trusty AirTag has his back, both on and off the field.
