On Friday, Joe Mixon’s agent told ESPN about Mixon who had a $9.4 million non-guaranteed base salary and agreed tonight to restructure his contract to remain in Cincinnati.
There’s been rumored about the Bengals releasing the former running back Joe Mixon this offseason. But Friday night, Joe Mixon cleared the about re-worked the Bengals contract.
The question is how much pay-cut Joe Mixon has to give up. According to Ian Rapoport, Joe will make $4.39 million less in 2023.

Joe Mixon already accepted the next year’s cut which means he will stay in the Bengals for next year’s season. Joe Mixon’s agent informed that “Joe’s goal is to win a Super Bowl and play his career in Cincinnati and this is the best way to accomplish these goals,”
