Netflix ‘Full Swing’ Docuseries Gets Limited Access Of USA Team For BTS At Ryder Cup

The Ryder Cup’s USA team laid unfortunate news on Netflix’s upcoming docuseries “Full Swing”.

Netflix’s “Full Swing” is about to cover up the Ryder Cup 2023 and players behind the scenes, especially in the locker room.

Unfortunately, Netflix golf docuseries will have only limited access to the USA team. The captain of the USA team talked to the Netflix film and crew. Johnson said there would be certain areas that would not be covered by the show, including the locker room.

All 12 players on the squad agreed that certain areas should be kept off-limits.

The CEO of the PGA of America, Seth Waugh released a statement on the Team’s decision. Waugh said,

“Netflix is going to be there. I would say all things involving the team we leave to the team and the captain. I think there’s a sanctity to the team room, and the experience is important to them. It’s part of being a team, right? Netflix has been great for the game. They’re doing great things. The team collectively decided there are areas of privacy that need to be respected.”

One of the team members Justin Thomas called it an easy decision for the U.S. team to shut down this potential distraction.  Thomas said,

“I just think there was maybe a couple of people a little skeptical, and it really was not even a conversation. We’re all a team this week. All 12 were on board, so it doesn’t really matter.”

Ryder Cup 2023 will officially begin on Sept. 29. After that Netflix will release season 2 of Full Swing on June 6.
