Nebraska’s Coach Matt Rhule Admires Deion Sanders After Colorado Vs TCU Game Win
Nebraska Cornhuskers head coach Matt Rhule admires Deion Sanders after his team’s big incredible win over TCU.
Colorado Buffaloes’s coach Deion Sanders has been receiving praise from everywhere including Paul Finebaum. There is Another name adding to Deion Sanders’s fan list Matt Rhule. There was a time when the Nebraska and Buffaloes were former Big 8/ Big 12 rivals.
In Week 1 of College Football, Colorado defeated the no. 17 TCU Horned Frogs with a 45-42 marquee matchup. In Week 2, the Buffaloes will run in the Cornfield of the Huskers.
On Monday, Cornhuskers head coach Matt Rhule said a lot of good things about Coach Prime.
Rhule said,
“Coach Sanders is a football guy so while you can watch all these peripheral things… At the end of the day, when has he ever not been serious about football? He’s been a head coach now, he’s won at both places. They’ve got elite players, elite skill players up and down the front. Anywhere you have a great QB you’re gonna have a great chance to win, so no, I wasn’t surprised at all.”

Rhule also admired the thing about Deion Sanders that he did an amazing job whatever he did and “won at everything he’s done in football.” Whether as a player or coach, said the Pro Football Hall of Famer is “the most serious person about football.”
Rhule added, “The utmost respect for Coach Sanders…He’s a football guy. The commercials and all those things, those are extra things you get to do when you’re elite at football. But I’m not surprised at all, everything he’s ever done at football he’s been successful at, and so he’s being successful here already.”
Matt Rhule and his team the Cornhuskers lost their week 1 game against Minnesota Golden Gophers with a 13-10.
Nebraska’s next week 2 match with the Buffaloes is set for noon ET Saturday.
