Westbrook was traded to the Utah Jazz by the Los Angeles Lakers in a three-team trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

It is still unknown whether Russell Westbrook will stay with the Jazz or agree to a buyout with the team to join a championship contender. The three teams that are associated with Westbrook as possible options are Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat, and Chicago Bulls.
As per Shams Charania, an NBA insider, the level of interest of teams may not be accurate.
“There are definitely players around the league that like Westbrook a lot like the Clippers guys, but I have not heard any traction with Westbrook and the Clippers,” Charania said on FanDuel TV. “Laurence Frank, their head basketball of operations, said he wants defense, shooting from the position, so I don’t know if Russ fits that.”
“When you look at teams around the league, there’s not a spot for Russell Westbrook… It’s a slow-moving market, and we’ll see if he’ll be able to find a home.”
