NBA Star Victor Wembanyama Gets Offer to Make Up for Bad Baseball Pitch From Minor League Baseball Team
Victor Wembanyama, the number 1 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, is not getting away from the bad baseball pitch experience he had not long ago. The 7ft 4 tall NBA Star received an interesting offer from a Minor League Baseball team. It’s not what you might expect, though!
The San Antonio Missions, a team connected to the San Diego Padres, wants to give Wembanyama a chance to redeem himself on the pitcher’s mound. You see, not too long ago, he threw the first pitch for the New York Yankees, and it didn’t go very well. His throw went way off target.

Now, the Missions have told TMZ that Wembanyama can come to one of their upcoming home games and throw the first pitch there. They even mentioned that the whole city of San Antonio is super excited about him potentially joining their basketball team, the Spurs.

Right now, Wembanyama is probably focusing on the NBA’s Summer League, where he’s playing with other rookies. But once that’s over, he might want to think about taking up the Missions’ offer and try his luck on the baseball field.
It will be interesting to see what Wembanyama decides. Will he give baseball another shot and show off his pitching skills? We’ll have to wait and see!
