On Saturday, Nike’s official statement was released that says, Nike is going to support Ja Morant following the NBA’s investigation into the Grizzlies guard. According to the team’s announcement, it’s anticipated that Morant will be staying away from Grizzlies for two games due to a video he shared on Instagram. In the video, he is flashing a gun at the camera.
“We appreciate Ja’s accountability and that he is taking the time to get the help he needs. We support his prioritization of his well-being,” the company’s statement said, via Shams Charania.
Following the two-hit ban, Morant claimed that he had deactivated both, his Twitter and Instagram accounts to take a break and some help. Other than this, another lawsuit was filed against him for hitting a 17 tears old boy during a pickup game at his house.
