Nashville’s SEC Media Days Celebration Leaves Fans Smiling
Nashville, Tennessee, hosted this year’s SEC Media Days, and they made it a memorable event. The city, known as Music City, found a unique way to welcome the representatives of the Southeastern Conference.
Pictures started circulating online of a special change made to a traffic light at the corner of Broadway and Rep. John Lewis Way S/N. Instead of the usual colors, the light was adjusted to spell out “S-E-C” with red, yellow, and green. People loved this creative twist!
Of course, some jokes were made about the possibility of more traffic accidents because of the altered traffic light.
But officer I thought you could turn right on S?? https://t.co/UyGU1FF2cA

Me blowing through the light and saying I didn’t see a red light, just an oddly placed red hovering S to the officer

Meanwhile, fans from the ACC, another conference, expressed a bit of envy. They wished their upcoming meetings in Charlotte, North Carolina, could have something fun as Nashville did.
I’ve never seen this in Charlotte……… https://t.co/3z8IJQdUIb

If we’re not greeted next week in Charlotte with A C C stoplights, is the league even trying anymore?

“Jim, what can you tell us about the conference’s decision not to brand the traffic lights?” https://t.co/omhogOx8Y7
Nashville has a strong love for SEC football and always goes the extra mile to show its support. They’re known for their warm hospitality.
(Some people playfully mention that Vanderbilt, the football representative of Nashville, isn’t the most successful team in the league.)
As the celebrations continue, people are excited to see what other enjoyable tributes Nashville has prepared for the SEC during these past few days.
