MS Dhoni’s early life and Education:
MS Dhoni was born and brought up in Ranchi, Bihar, India. He is the only son and the youngest child of Pan Singh and Devika Devi. He was the goalkeeper in his football team but after noticing his wicketkeeping skills his coach KR Banerjee in school, sent him to the local cricket club – Commando Cricket Club where he became a constant wicketkeeper from 1995-98. After which he was selected in the 1997/98 Season Vinoo Mankad U-16 Championship Trophy. After which he got selected as a Travelling Ticket Examiner at Kharagpur Railway Station in West Bengal. Dhoni gives a lot of credit to Deval Sahay for instilling discipline into him.
