MLB Seattle Mariners team is selling the rival team Toronto Blue Jays merchandise in their stadium store, which is the highlight of this week.

On Monday, a Mariners fan posted a photo of inside the store selling Blue Jays merchandise. Seatle Mariners will host the three-game series for Toronto Blue Jays by selling the rival’s team merchandise they are already making Toranto’s fan visit feel like home.

But some of the Mariners players do not like the idea at all. Especially, Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford and relief pitcher Paul Sewald, who posted on their Twitter account.

Paul Sewald wrote on his Twitter post, “What the hell is this@MarinersStore.”

Other than Mariners players there are several Mariners fans who think this is a disgusting strategy against their own players and fans. Well, looking at the bright side of the whole selling rivals’ merchandise could be a strategy for gaining extra revenue to bring the free-agent free agent Shohei Ohtani into the team this offseason.

Whether the players and fans like it or not Mariners stadium store is full of Blue Jays star Vladimir Guerrero-named t-shirts celebrating his winning the Home Run Derby at the same stadium.
