Senior Writer of ESPN Mina Kimes showed up with a date for Wednesday’s ESPY Awards.

The NFL Live analyst revealed life-changing news on the red carpet, she posted a photo of her holding a baby bump and captioned it “Brought a date”.

Mina Kimes just announced her pregnancy at the ESPY’s Red Carpet event. After posting on Twitter Mina’s family, friends, and colleagues were bombarded with congratulations.

Her brother Issac Kime wrote, “I’m gonna be an uncle.”

B. W. Carlin tweeted, “This is my Rihanna at the Super Bowl moment,” 

ESPN’s Damien Woody wrote, “Ma’am Congratulations,”

Eric Moody wrote, “Congrats on the new addition to the family, Mina!”

37-year-old Mina Kimes is one of the senior writers at ESPN who previously wrote for Fortune and Bloomberg. She’s been with ESPN since 2014 and wrote her first article  “bond between herself and her dad and the Seattle Seahawks.” Kimes is one of the most rapidly growing stars in ESPN. She also hosts an NFL-based podcast entitled “The Mina Kimes Show featuring Lenny“, with her dog named Lenny.

Mina Kimes’s husband, Nick Sylvester is in the music entertainment industry whom she married in 2015. Mina lives with her husband Nick and Dog ‘Lenny’ in Los Angeles.

Mina Kimes is a big fan of the Seahawks and gives her regular live NFL insights on her podcast.
