Mike Tomlin’s Latest Perfect Tomlinism for Game Against Atlanta Falcons

Mike Tomlin made a decision for the upcoming final preseason game which is between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Atlanta Falcons. They have decided to have their starter player for the final game and show their might.

According to the media reports, Tomlin used one of his famous sayings and mentioned that he has to get his players practicing before they can start the real competition.

“I don’t really need validation,” Tomlin said, via the team’s website. “I think it’s difficult to box without sparring. Preseason is an opportunity for us to spar and sharpen our swords for the battle.”

The quote has gone viral since he made it with everyone applauding him for standing by the decision:

“Tomlin is an OG. One of the top ten coaches in the past 30 years. Dude can run his team as he sees fit,” one user wrote.

“He won once. He can do what he wants till they fire him,” wrote another.

“It’s evident that the Steelers take preseason a lot more seriously than other teams. Their preseason records the last couple years show this. We will see how they look against San Fran week 1,” a third declared.

What are your thoughts on Tomlin’s decision?
