Michelle Beadle recently met with Victor Wembanyama after he was chosen as the first overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft by the San Antonio Spurs.

Wembanyama is considered a once-in-a-lifetime talent, and everyone is extremely excited about his future. Even his sister became incredibly popular on the internet because of all the hype surrounding him.

However, what really caught people’s attention this week was Wembanyama’s conversation with Beadle, especially the pictures of them together and their size comparison.

The photos of them together highlighted two things. First, it showed how incredibly tall and big Wembanyama is. It was like the opposite of that one time when Bryce Young and Mina Kimes took pictures together and it became viral.

“I’m 100% sure you didn’t need to lean in to shake his hand! He could’ve reached you just fine,” one fan wrote.

The second thing, however, was how Beadle’s arms almost looked more jacked than Wembanyama’s.

“Beads hasn’t skipped arm day,” one fan wrote.

“Ummm can we just talk about your arm fitness for a second,” a second person chimed in.

“Beads, you been in the lab,” a third person wrote.

“Looks like Beadle lifts more than Wemby,” a fourth fan noted.

The criticism directed at Wembanyama seems reasonable to some extent. His slender body frame is indeed a valid concern at the moment. However, it’s important to recall that Chet Holmgren, who also entered the league very thin, has managed to gain significant muscle over the past year. Perhaps Wembanyama could undergo a similar transformation.

If the Spurs successfully bring in a star player to support him, it could help reduce the physical toll he might face from opposing defenses in the upcoming year.’
