Michael Irvin Clear Out His Thoughts About Brock Purdy
Michael Irvin, an American sports commentator and former American football player just talked about Brock Purdy and gave his clear opinion about whether he’s a “system quarterback” or not.
During FS1’s “Undisputed,” Irvin admitted that Purdy is in a great system that suits his skills. He also gave credit to the Iowa State player for performing so well.
“A job of a head coach is to find the right system for his quarterback and make it fit. … This system fits Brock Purdy perfectly,” Irvin said. “He’s very efficient in it, he doesn’t throw interceptions, he doesn’t make bad decisions and he gets the ball in his playmakers’ hands.”
Towards the end of Irvin’s rant, he stated that Purdy should be in the MVP race through four weeks.

Purdy has successfully completed 72.3 percent of his passes this season, throwing for 1,019 yards and scoring five touchdowns. Surprisingly, he hasn’t thrown any interceptions yet, although that might change in the upcoming game against the Cowboys.
The 49ers are aiming to make their record 5-0 this weekend in the early part of the season.
