Messi gets criticized for his poor performance  in PSG 1-1 draw against Reims

The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner, Lionel Messi, does not seem to care about his club anymore. His mediocre performance against the Reims is getting trolled by his fans on Twitter. The Parisians got a 1-1 draw against the Stade de Reims.

In the game against Reims, Messi’s performance took a disappointing turn as he lost possession of the ball 14 times. He could get only one out of four attempted dribbles and got no shots on target. He skipped many opportunities during the game. Though PSG forward Neymar took three points and it seemed that the club would take the lead, the Arsenal striker Folarin Bolagun gave the Reims the draw they deserved. 

Christophe Galtier fielded together Mbappe, Messi, and Neymar in the line-up, but their performance remained unchanged.

PSG coach, Galtier said, “Overall we obviously can’t be satisfied with our performance. It is not a question of being worried but we need to get back to winning ways quickly and play much more as a team than we are at the moment”.

Messi and his decline

Messi ranked the highest on ‘The Guardian’s’ top 100 male footballer list. His performance seems to decline after this remarkable milestone. Fans even say that his all-time rival Ronaldo must be proud after seeing this decline. Twitter flooded with funny and taunting comments on Messi, as some said that he does not care about the club anymore.
