Megan Rapinoe Being Criticized for her Behavior following Disappointing Draw

Megan Rapinoe, an American soccer player is facing criticism for her recent Behavior. USWNT just advanced to the knockout stage of the 2023 World Cup with a Disappointing Draw against Portugal on Tuesday. And then later some players of the team including Megan Rapinoe, and Alex Morgan were spotted on the pitch dancing. 

This Behavior of the team seems to upset Former USWNT star Carli Lloyd and she even made it clear on  FOX’s post-match coverage. 

“I have never witnessed something like that. There’s a difference between being respectful of the fans and saying hello to your family,” Lloyd said. “But to be dancing, to be smiling. I mean, the player of the match was that post. You were lucky to not be going home right now.”

The USWNT player’s behavior was really somewhat unreasonable. Instead of dancing on the pitch, they should have at least shown a bit of regret for the outcome of the match.

Now that everything that happened, if USWNT wants to silence its critics then they will have to win against Sweden on Sunday. That being said, Vlatko Andonovski’s squad will need to be much better in order to pick up the win.
