Meet Your Maker To Be Featured On PlayStation Plus At Launch In April
Meet Your Maker, the highly anticipated game from the creators of Dead by Daylight, Behavior Interactive, is set to launch on April 4, and PlayStation has announced that the game will be available at no extra cost for PlayStation Plus subscribers on day one. Here’s everything you need to know about the game and its launch on PlayStation Plus.
Gameplay Overview
Meet Your Maker is an asymmetric multiplayer game where players will be divided into two teams: Raiders and Builders. Raiders will engage in first-person action gameplay, attempting to steal the ‘Genmat’ at the core of a treacherous outpost filled with traps and enemies. Builders, on the other hand, will create the outpost and try to make it as difficult as possible for Raiders to reach the Genmat. They can create winding paths, select the placement and trajectory of enemies, and fill the terrain with deadly traps.
PlayStation Plus Launch
PlayStation has revealed that Meet Your Maker will be available for free to PlayStation Plus subscribers from April 4, the day of its launch. It’s unclear if the game will be available to all tiers of PlayStation Plus, but it’s presumed that it will be available to Essential subscribers, meaning all subscribers will have a month to claim the game, after which it will always be playable as long as their subscription is active.
Strategies for PlayStation Plus
PlayStation is likely looking to bolster the value of PlayStation Plus, following the success of Xbox’s Game Pass service. They have previously restructured PS Plus to include two higher tiers with a long list of downloadable games. Additionally, on occasion, PS Plus includes day-one launches, though always of second and third-party games, never first-party exclusives.
Launch Details
Meet Your Maker will be launching on April 4 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. With the added bonus of being available for free on PlayStation Plus, this is a great opportunity for subscribers to try out a new game from the creators of Dead by Daylight.
