Meet Ohio State’s Cheerleader Star Who’s Making Big Waves on CBS

Last Saturday, the Ohio State Buckeyes faced off against Indiana, and they managed to grab a win even though they didn’t play their best.

In Week 1, Ohio State won against Indiana with a score of 23-3 on a Saturday afternoon. Their offense, led by a new quarterback named Kyle McCord, had some ups and downs, but their defense did a great job.

While the Buckeyes were battling it out on the field, the cheerleaders in their Scarlet and Gray uniforms were also making a big impression. One cheerleader, in particular, is getting a lot of attention on CBS.

Meet Avery Thielman, a freshman cheerleader at Ohio State. She’s been named one of the standout cheerleaders of the game because of her infectious energy and enthusiasm. After the game, she lightened the mood by joking on Instagram, saying, “$10 to anyone who can tell me what a Hoosier is.” 

People are really starting to notice her on social media, and her following has been growing all summer.

Now, Ohio State is getting ready for their next game, and fans are eagerly waiting to see how they’ll perform. Later this month, they’ll be facing off against Notre Dame, which is a big deal. Avery and her fellow cheerleaders will surely be there to cheer on the Buckeyes, both on and off the field.
