Meet Lily Nevin: The Notre Dame Cheerleader Who Stole the Show This Weekend

This past weekend marked the start of the 2023 college football season. A faraway face-off happened between the Navy and Notre Dame.

It wasn’t a very close match. The Fighting Irish took control from the start. Sam Hartman, a new quarterback, and the Notre Dame team scored a lot, winning 42-3.

While everyone was watching the players, someone from the Notre Dame cheerleading squad also caught our attention.

Her name is Lily Nevin, and she really shone this weekend. It’s easy to see why. Lily had a great time cheering for Notre Dame in Dublin while they played against the Midshipmen.

Lily is a junior at Notre Dame and she’s been cheering for the team for two years already. She’s got a lot of energy and brings excitement to the sidelines.

Lily will be cheering again this weekend when Notre Dame faces Tennessee State on Saturday afternoon.
