Matt Barnes spat on David Patterson, All you need to know about Sims and his ex-husband
Matt Barnes spat on his fiancee’s ex-husband, David Patterson’s face at the 49ers vs Cowboys game. He caused a commotion in public.
Patterson played for the Atlanta Falcons and later for the Canadian Football League. He also played for Ohio State University. In 2007, he was signed by the Falcons. He left behind his playing career, after a serious injury and went on to lead a normal life.
In 2010, Patterson got married to the model, Anasa Sims for seven years and then separated in 2017. They had three children together and were also seen in a reality show, ‘Beverly’s Full House.’
Later, Patterson got committed to Melisa Andino. The former NFL player doesn’t seem to like the small forward, Barnes.
Barnes got death threats from Patterson
It was reported that Barnes received death threats from Patterson, and he filed a restraining order against David. He was afraid of the death threats that he got from David. Even Sims, Barnes’ partner, had filed a protective order against David.
According to the Blast, Barnes received verbal threats from Patterson several times.
Barnes said, “Following repeated violent threats, including threatening to shoot me with his “Glock” (a type of gun) and a recent physical confrontation at an NFL playoff game, I am seeking a civil harassment restraining order against David B. Patterson, Jr. David is the ex-husband of my current fiancée.”
“David’s threat to shoot me was captured on video and was presented as evidence at the restraining order trial against him. David also admitted in open Court during his testimony that he made this violent threat to me. I believe David is jealous of my relationship with his ex-wife, angry about his custodial situation, and targets me for harassment as a result.”
