Martin Odegaard full of praise for Trossard
Trossard earned praise for his brilliance against Fulham
The Gunners were able to regain their 5-point lead over Manchester City in fabulous fashion as Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Martinelli and Odegaard scored at Craven Cottage. Mikel Arteta’s men responded to City’s win on Sunday by thrashing Fulham 3-0 last night.
Trossard was the star performer as he assisted all three goals. A magnificent playmaking display as he became the first Premier League player to register three assists within the first half of a match.
Odegaard heaped praise for the £27 million summer arrival from Brighton. The Norwegian admits that Trossard has been an exceptional addition to the squad.
What did Odegaard say?
The Arsenal Captain said, “I think he’s brought some amazing things to the team.”
“I love to play with him. He’s always there to link up; he always looks for combinations.
“When he’s in the box, he’s good to find the right pass like he did today and like he’s done in the other games as well. So yeah, really happy to have him on the team.”
How did Mikel Arteta respond to Trossard’s performance?
“He’s been great, and especially because he had an injury. He could’ve had another week, but he pushed the medical officials and they did a great job to get him back.
