Marshawn Lynch ‘Beast Quake” Was Defeated by Taylor Swift Fans
Taylor Swift’s concert at Lumen Field just made history becoming one of the best concerts in the entire history. The fan’s seismic activity that the concert was equivalent to that of a 2.3 magnitude earthquake.
Taylor’s concert was even more bustling than Marshawn Lynch’s touchdown run against the Saints in the 2010 playoffs. This clearly shows how famous of a singer she is and how much her fans love her. She’s one of the best singers in the world and has been so popular. With more than 269 million followers on her Instagram and her posts on her account, she’s always in the headlines.
According to seismologist Jackie Caplan-Auerbach, the noise at the Swift concert was even more than twice as strong as the “Beast Quake” from Lynch.
“The shaking was twice as strong as ‘Beast Quake’. It absolutely doubled it,” Caplan-Auerbach said.
“The primary difference is the duration of shaking,” Caplan-Auerbach explained. “Cheering after a touchdown lasts for a couple seconds, but eventually it dies down. It’s much more random than a concert. For Taylor Swift, I collected about 10 hours of data where rhythm controlled the behavior. The music, the speakers, the beat. All that energy can drive into the ground and shake it,” from CNN.
Swift is more famous than ever now and will continue to grow. Everyone looks forward to attending her concerts and her fans will always be there to cheer for her.
