Mark Ingram Addresses Alabama’s Glaring Issues Other Than Quarterback Situations

College Analyst and former NFL star Mark Ingram talked about Nick Saban’s team Alabama and its current quarterback situation.

On Big Noon Kickoff pregame show analyst Mark Ingram addressed all the glaring issues with Alabama. Six-time National champion Crimson Tide hasn’t been in its real form in this College Football season.

After Alabama’s week 1 win over Middle Tennessee, the Crimson Tide lost their second-week game with Texas. They also lost their Top Five ranking and rolled down to no. 10 in the College ranking.

It is obvious for Alabama to panic who dethroned from not only 1 or 2 but seven no. down. After Texas lost, Nick Saban changed the quarterback from Jalen Milroe to Tyler Buchner.

Mark Ingram who started his college football career at Alabama from 2008-10, thinks it’s an overreaction from Saban and sees more issues than just the quarterback position.

Ingram said,

“I think there’s a lot more glaring issues than just the quarterback play that Alabama needs to address. Now, I trust in Saint Nick, he’s there every day, I’m not there every day, so I trust him to make the right decisions for the team and for the program. But I do think this is an overreaction for Jalen Milroe.”

Buchner transferred from Notre Dame to Alabama and has some experience despite his lack of big-game experience like Milroe. Only the upcoming Alabama game will tell whether Nick Saban made the right decision or not.

Alabama’s next face-off with South Florida will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET.
