Manchester United star gets criticized after going through a Barcelona draw-“Spent 3 months in weed cafes”
Jordan Sancho, the Manchester United winger was criticized by the fans after his side’s 2-2 draw with Barcelona. On February 16, Thursday, the Blaugrana and the Red Devils played out a fascinating draw in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League Knockout playoff tie.
In the 50th minute, Xavi’s side took a lead through Marco Alonso’s close-range header. But two minutes later United immediately struck back through Marcus Rashford.
In the 59th minute, the English attacker played a pivotal role in the Red Devils by taking the lead.
The fans of Manchester United showed their discontent towards Sancho’s uninteresting display at Camp Nou. He was given a second chance by Erik ten Hag after undergoing individual training. The player could not find his way on the left and failed to get the better of Jules Kounde.
Sancho managed to get three key passes but he sent two shots off target, while another of his shot was blocked. He got only one dribble in three attempts.
A fan claimed and criticized Sancho by saying that he has been spending his downtime out of the team getting high:
“Spent 3 months in weed cafes, and people thought a different player would come back.”
The English attacker also lost possession six times, which frustrated another fan who said,
“Loses the ball every time”
