Manchester United Sold To Qatar Banker’s Jassim
The race to buy Manchester United has been finally over.
Both Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe were battling for the Red Devils to buy. And the Banker Jassim has won Manchester United. The Man United News posted on their Official Twitter handle.
Last week Jassim placed his final and last offer to the owners and locked the deal with £ 5 billion.
Qatar’s former Prime minister’s son Jassim is behind the club for months. And his only rival was Britain’s richest man Sir Jim Ratcliffe who was interested in Manchester.
Jassim put in his fifth and final offer of £ 5 billion for 100% of the Club. Where Ratcliffe was only up for a 60% share of the club.
If the Glazer family accepted the offer of the British richest businessman. They would still have the 40% of the club and remains on the owner’s table.
But Jassim has a completely different vision in his head for the future of the Manchester United club. He offered the undeniable offer to the owner. They couldn’t shake it off.
Joel and Avram Glazer put Manchester Club last year for sale. Due to £ 537.5 million debt on the family now soon be gone. The handover process will be started soon. Glazer’s said it’s a lengthy legal process and won’t start until this November.
The manager Erik Ten Heg has no idea about the budget according to him the club belongs to the family and he has no right to intervene in the matters of the club owners “No, I don’t have an influence on that, I don’t have and also I don’t know.”
He also said that it doesn’t matter what he wants he clearly has no influence or control over the decision – “I think it’s clear what I want, but it’s not up to me. It’s about others in this club.
The family are the owners, they make the decisions, and it’s not up to me. I do everything I can and I influence the processes that I’m in charge of.”
It would be interesting to see who will be signing with United and joining the club with a new owner.
