Anthony Martial is forgotten despite a great pre-season
Manchester United fans are no longer having expectations from Frenchman Anthony Martial. The striker has been in and out of action despite showing great signs in pre-season.
The somewhat failed wonderkid arrived at Old Trafford in 2015. United paid €50m which was a record fee for a teenager back then.
Unfortunately, Martial failed to live up to the love and expectations of the United fans. After a spell which lasted eight seasons, the Red Devils have run out of patience for the striker. Nevertheless, Erik ten Hag believes the striker has still a lot to offer when fit.

AshRK: “The guy is unreliable. He will again be fit when we go to US tour and score some goals there and will again be rated as the best striker.”
utdalltheway: “He’s a feckin injury case. I can’t be arsed now looking for his stats but I bet they’re not good for what was at one point the most expensive teenager in the world. We need a fit and contributing striker. Our goal difference could tell a blind man that.”
