Man United will target key Arsenal players in the summer
Manchester United are looking to sign Arsenal’s Odegaard and Saka
Former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore has claimed that post takeover, Man United will try and poach Arsenal’s biggest talents. Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka are the most attractive players in the Gunners squad and might attract eyes come summer.
Odegaard and Saka have been been leading the line for Arsenal who aim to win their first league title in 20 years as they hold a 8 point lead over Pep’s Manchester City.
Manchester are about to get new owners as Glazers have decided to sell the club. British billionaire Jim Ratcliffe and Qatari Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani are the two interested in the deal and have made their respective bids.
What did Stan Collymore say?
“If they get taken over, what’s stopping them from going in for Arsenal’s Odegaard or Saka in the summer?
“You’re not telling me Manchester United’s financial power wouldn’t at least make the Gunners, as well as the players themselves, stop and think.
“The point is though if Frankie De Jong doesn’t want the move, fine – leave him where he is and move on. United are a big enough club to find the next best, or an even better, midfielder, if that’s the position Erik Ten Hag is prioritising.”
