Mahomes, QB of the Kansas City Chiefs is sure of winning the SuperBowl
On Sunday, Patrick Mahomes, the quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs, might win his second Super Bowl. Yet at what price?
In an interview with Cooper Manning of Fox Sports on Monday, Mahomes said that if the Kansas City Chiefs win the Super Bowl LVII against the Philadelphia Eagles, he’ll sip a beer out of Manning’s boot.
Mahomes hilariously made the following remarks:
Mahomes specified that it would not be just any beer, though. The Chiefs quarterback stated it would have to be Coors Light, his preferred alcoholic beverage. He also wants to guarantee that Manning adheres to fundamental standards of hygiene.
Mahomes responded, “I’ve need to make sure you wash your socks before we do it.
The high ankle sprain Mahomes is presently dealing with was sustained during the AFC Championship victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Mahomes admitted that his prior Super Bowl defeat to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is a motivating factor that is enabling him to say like that and be sure of his team’s success.
“The win is amazing,” Mahomes said. “It’s one of the best moments of your entire life. You take away all the positives from that. But that loss, that stings. That motivates you for years. What it’s done for me is it’s motivated me to be back in this game again. I want to make sure that I can have that winning feeling and not that losing one because that losing feeling is one you’ll never forget.”
As per Mahomes, one enjoys and takes all positives with him when one wins and at the same time, it hurts when one loses and faces defeat. He would certainly not want to be counted among the defeated ones, so he is quite hopeful that he will win
His earlier loss to the Bengals is haunting him and still hurts. He further added, “You are inspired by that for years. It has helped me because it has inspired me to play this game once more. I want to be sure I can experience victory rather than defeat because the latter is an emotion you never forget.”
