Magic Johnson: It’s Me Hi NBA’s Best Point Guard Ever, Not Steph Curry

Once Steph Curry was asked by Gilbert Arenas on his podcast If he thinks of himself as the best point guard ever.

Steph replied, “It’s me and Magic.” Some of the fans thought it was ridiculous of him to put himself with the legend himself.

Magic Johnson is one of the legendary NBA players who is considered one of the greatest point guards in NBA history. For decades no one ever got close to Johnson’s magic.

But recently Steph started to see himself on the level of Johnson with his four NBA titles and two MVPs.

In a recent episode of The Zach Gelb Show, Magic Johnson was asked what he think about Steph Curry’s claim.

Johnson doesn’t hesitate to name him as the NBA’s Best point guard. He said,

“If he got more than five championships, more than three Finals MVPs and three league MVPs… No. 1 in assists all-time in the Finals… he’s the best. But last time I checked, he doesn’t.”

Johnson asserted that Steph hasn’t reached out to his list of accolades. When Steph does Johnson will happily admit that Curry’s the best.

For now, Magic Johnson is still sitting on the throne and not ready to give up on it yet.
