Luka Doncic refuses to mention LeBron James for his all-time ranking

Luka Doncic might be a huge fan of LeBron James, but when he was asked where he ranks, he just refused. Doncic doesn’t know what to say; instead, he simply refuses to respond to it because he is not in the player rankings.

According to him, he just enjoys and appreciates the greatness of any player, including James. Doncic only said, ” that he is a fantastic player, an exceptional player, but I don’t care about the rankings. That’s it ! “.

It’s really difficult to classify the players considering the differences within a generation. There were several incredible players in the era, so comparing what they did to others from a different era would be a huge disservice. 

LeBron James’s all-time ranking is something that is always up for debate. His active status makes it far more difficult for his competitors and new players to mention him by the same name as Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Kobe Bryant, and many others.

Doncic must be well aware of this, resulting in his refusal to rank James on his all-time list. Apart from this, James and Doncic embraced each other before and after the game, displaying respect and appreciation for each other.
