Luchi Gonzalez is ready to lead the San Jose Earthquakes

Luchi Gonzalez is a former player and current coach in American soccer. Prior to the start of the 2023 Major League Soccer season, Gonzalez was confirmed as the new head coach of the San Jose Earthquakes on August 17, 2022. And Following the 2022 FIFA World Cup, he would formally join the team. San Jose is anticipating Gonzalez’s leadership in Major League Soccer as he has earned much respect throughout his career.

San Jose has so much potential Luchi Gonzalez said

During his interview Gonzalez stated “I had a beautiful and amazing experience with U.S. Soccer, qualifying and getting to the World Cup. But the rhythm is different. You have these really intense one or two-week moments, where you prepare for hours and you get in the zone to execute. That was an amazing experience of intensity, focus, and execution. But the club is different.”

Additionally, he said “It’s just different. It’s a little more spread out and lengthy, so sustained energy and focus are needed. There’s more consistency to it, I miss the day-in and day-out work and grind, and creative drive. I’m really thankful for the experience I had, but I miss the club rhythm and the league.”
