LSU HC Kim Mulkey Lands On Richest Contract In History Of Women’s Basketball
LSU head coach Kim Mulkey landed the richest contract in Women’s Basketball history. Kim’s 10-year extension contract with LSU made her the highest-paid woman in basketball history.
Via Bleacher Report, Mulkey agreed to terms on a 10-year, $32 million extension with LSU. That deal is the richest total contract in the history of women’s college basketball.
The LSU Tigers coach Mulkey’s salary is a bit better than Geno Auriemma’s at UConn. Huskies coach Geno made $3 million this past season with $100,000 raises next two seasons.

Mulkey, 61, hasn’t commented on her historical achievement.
Mulkey made some phenomenal changes in LSU by transferring Hailey Van Lith and Aneesah Morrow to LSU. She also won the National Championship in her second season with the Tigers.
Mulkey had great success at Baylor University before joining LSU and brought her talent Alexis Morris to LSU.
LSU Women Tigers become the favorite of every college fan and are likely to be expected to to win it all next season.
