Longtime WWE Star Lacey Evans Leaving Wrestling Said, She’s Done

Longtime WWE star and former U.S. Marine Lacey Evans is leaving the wrestling career behind. Lacey also changed her all social media to her real name Macey Estrella-Kadlec.

WWE star Lacey, who debuted in 2016, posted on her Twitter said, “She was done with WWE”. While changing her social media with her real name, Lacey removed any mention of WWE. She also wrote on her Twitter,

“FKA WWE Superstar Lacey Evans.” 

Via Wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer’s report, Lacey’s contract expired, though it is unclear if the company extended a new offer.

33, Macey started her professional wrestling career with the independent circuit before she signed a contract with WWE. She debuted in the NXT developmental brand where she competed with stars like Dakota Kai, Nikki Cross, and Candice LeRae.

After spending three years in NXT, was called for the main roster and made her first official debut in WWE  in the 2019 Women’s Royal Rumble match. While on the main roster, she competed for championships against the likes of Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. Her last fight with Zelina Vega in a dark match prior to the July 7 episode of Smackdown where she lost.

Before her WWE career, Macey Estrella-Kadlec was a former U.S. Marine, who worked as a Marine Corps Military Police officer. Definitely, her military experience came in handy with her wrestling career.

Macey is planning to open a local diner after done with her seven years of wrestling career.
