Longtime ESPN Host Sage Steele Leaving To Start A New Chapter
ESPN’s longtime host Sage Steele is leaving after spending her sixteen years in the broadcasting company.
16 years is a very long time for a person to commit part of their life to one company. On Tuesday Steele announced on her X Twitter about closing deals with ESPN/Disney and starting a new chapter in her life.
50, Steele wrote on her X Twitter,
“Life update. Having successfully settled my case with ESPN/Disney, I have decided to leave so I can exercise my First Amendment rights more freely. I am grateful for so many wonderful experiences over the past 16 years and am excited for my next chapter!”
Life update.

Sage is excited to join a new platform so she can talk more freely. Sage, who co-hosted the 12 pm SportsCenter, joined ESPN in March 2007. Steele got suspended back in October 2021 by ESPN for the comments she made about the company’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
However, later she issued an apology regarding her comment.
Sage’s fans are congratulating her and wishing her the best of luck as she takes on a new role for the first time in over a decade.
Congratulations to Sage Steele on her bold move.
