Local 5-Star Player Commits to Miami Football
The Miami Hurricanes football program has just received an amazing boost with the commitment of a top-rated player. Joshisa Trader aka “JoJo”, a highly talented Elite 2024 wide receiver from Chaminade-Madonna Prep, has chosen to join the team.
On Thursday, the 6-foot-2, 180-pounder made the exciting announcement on social media.
Despite receiving offers from many prestigious football programs like Alabama, Florida, and Ohio State, Trader decided that Miami was the right fit for him.

When asked about his choice, Trader mentioned that Miami had been showing him love and support from the beginning. He also emphasized the importance of being close to home, stating that there’s no place like it.
Trader’s skills have earned him recognition as one of the best wide receivers in the state of Florida, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. He’s ranked ninth among wide receivers and fifth overall in Florida state.
In his junior year, he had an impressive season with 743 yards and seven touchdowns, averaging 15.8 yards per catch. Even in his sophomore year, he performed admirably, recording 592 yards and six touchdowns.
This commitment is a win-win situation. Trader gets to stay in his hometown, surrounded by familiar faces, while the Miami football program gains a highly talented player who will undoubtedly strengthen their team.
