Liverpool’s line-up against Manchester United
Will Naby Keita feature in Liverpool’s line-up against Manchester United?
Liverpool got back to winning fashion after losing two back-to-back games against Real Madrid and Crystal Palace. The Reds defeated the Wolves with goals from Salah and Virgil Van Dijk.
Despite keeping four straight clean sheets, Liverpool has been underwhelming this season. A win on Sunday will take the Reds closer to Spurs in the league standings, however, the Red Devils will make sure they give Liverpool a tough time ahead.
In their last four head-to-head meetings, Liverpool scored 14 goals past Manchester United. However, Erik ten Hag’s men have been revolutionized.
Liverpool’s team news and injuries:
While Calvin Ramsey is out for the season, Thiago and Luis Diaz are both sidelined with injuries.
Konate and Van Dijk are likely to pair up as the center-backs with Joe Gomez unavailable. Apart from that, Joel Matip is another option for Jurgen Klopp.
Salah will be the first name on the list having touched the 20 goal mark this season.
Naby Keita picked up an injury as well when facing Crystal Palace. Thus, a fitness test will determine whether he will start on Sunday or not.
Despite getting subbed on late during the Crystal Palace clash, Cody Gakpo will find his place as a starter against Manchester United. If Gakpo is used as a striker, Nunez might have to be on the bench with Jota being placed in the wings.
Probable starting-eleven vs. Manchester United:
(4-3-3): Alisson; Van Dijk, Konate, Robertson, Alexander-Arnold; Bajcetic, Henderson, Fabinho; Salah, Jota/Nunez, Gakpo.
