Liverpool set to bid for Chelsea’s Mason Mount
After a turbulent season Liverpool has had, their most problematic area has been the midfield with the likes of Thiago Alcantara and Naby Keita out injured.
Thus, as per the Athletic, Liverpool is currently preparing an offer for the Chelsea midfielder. Mount can bring in creativity in the midfield while offering dynamism is attack.
How can Liverpool land Mount?
Chelsea had been trying to get Mount’s contract extended. However, after holding several talks, the midfielder has stalled on the offer. Chelsea fears that they will have to let Mount leave for a cheap price instead of letting him walk away once his contract expires.
The Blues will be looking for offers of around £70 million for the midfielder.
Liverpool is quite serious regarding the player and want to grab onto the opportunity if Mount leaves the club.
