LeBron James set to collaborate with Liverpool

Premier League club Liverpool has recently announced a collaboration with NBA Star LeBron James for the release of a new clothing line.

LeBron James has been a Liverpool fan for a long-time now. He is even known to hold a minor share in the Fenway Sports Group. He had previously had fans on their feet when he wore the new shoes inspired by the club crest when the Lakers took on New York Knicks.

Now the NBA icon is back with a new release of a clothing brand along with Liverpool. The King himself recently overtook Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the leading scorer with 38390 points.

The new release includes James-inspired shorts and shirts along with other basketball fashion wear such as streetwear and footwear.

How did Liverpool players react?

Liverpool Captain, Jordan Henderson said, “I’m a big fan of LeBron and all he’s achieved to become one of the greatest basketball players in history. It’s great to see the link-up with LFC and to be a part of this exciting collaboration with the club.”

Liverpool Women’s Shanice van de Sanden added: “I’m really proud to be a football player for Liverpool FC and to see this collaboration is very cool. It’s also more than just a collaboration, there’s something behind it: an inspiring message of ‘strive for greatness’.”
