Liverpool And Spurs Target Kolo Muani Talks About Premier League Move
Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani was a revelation at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The Frenchman has been linked with a potential move to English football. As per reports, Liverpool and Spurs have been showing interest in the striker.
The French striker has stated that he always dreamt of playing in the Premier League. Muani at 24, is completely committed to the project at his Eintracht Frankfurt and playing in the Bundesliga. As of now, the forward believes the Bundesliga to be the adequate league to develop his traits before moving out to a big club.
Kolo Muani’s comments
As per the HITC report, Randal Kolo Muani stated the following to Sky Germany: “If possible, I’d like to stay and play in the Bundesliga. I don’t know what will happen in the next few days. I’m benefiting here with my speed. There’s a lot of space for me. There’s a lot of press, and a lot of counterattacking, (and) that suits my style of play very much. The Bundesliga is the perfect league for me.”
He added: “(The Premier League) is a great league with great teams. It’s a league that every player dreams of. (But) that’s not my goal yet. With Eintracht, we have a lot of goals for the second half of the season. And I want to score a lot of goals. At the moment, I only think about that. I would like the Premier League in the future. But that’s still a long way off, and a dream.”
Last month, Liverpool was showing serious interest in Randal Kolo Muani as they looked to solidify their injury-ridden attacking department. The Merseyside club instead went all in for PSV Winger Cody Gakpo for a cut-price deal of £35 million.
Kolo Muani moved to Germany as a free agent from the French club Nantes. The Frenchman has had a strong start to life at Frankfurt as he has scored eight goals and assisted eleven just six months into the season.
