LIV Golfer Phil Mickelson Denies Billy Walters Accusation Of Bet On 2012 Ryder Cup

LIV Golfer Phil Mickelson denied the gambler Billy Walters‘ accusations of bet $400k on the 2012 Ryder Cup.

Pro Golfer Phil never hides his gambling addiction but recently he sent a clear message regarding Billy Walters’ claims of betting $400,000 on the 2012 Ryder Cup. Billy’s new autobiography claimed that Mickelson tried to bet on the 2012 Ryder Cup when he was on the team.

Via Sports Illustrated, Phil denied all the accusations on Thursday and then denied it again on Twitter. Phill said,

“I never bet on the Ryder Cup. While it is well known that I always enjoy a friendly wager on the course, I would never undermine the integrity of the game. I have also been very open about my gambling addiction. I have previously conveyed my remorse, took responsibility, have gotten help, have been fully committed to therapy that has positively impacted me and I feel good about where I am now.”

Phil Mickelson, a former PGA tour player who won 45 major events during his time with the club, before he signed up for the LIV golf.

Over the years, Phil Mickelson was very open about his gambling addiction and never afraid to commit his mistakes.

Maybe direct confrontation from Phill puts an end to that report from Walters.
