Lindsey Vonn Health Update: Fans Send Warm Wishes to US Olympic Star After Surgery

Former U.S. Olympic skier, Lindsey Vonn, had surgery earlier this week.

Lindsey Vonn is one of the best skiers in the history of the U.S. Olympics. She updated her fans about her recovery on her Instagram, sharing a photo of herself post-surgery from the hospital. She shared a long message for her fans and followers thanking them for all the warm wishes during this painful and difficult time.

She wrote, “So…I had another knee surgery and it went well. I want to first say thank you for everyone who’s sent a text or message of support. It means a lot to me. ??❤️

I got another surgery because I’ve been dealing with all the damage from my ski racing career and have been trying to manage the pain as best I can. This surgery is hopefully a big step to help me long term. We still have work to do, and most likely another surgery, but I hope this will help me for a bit.

Feeling excited about this step and hopefully being in less pain so I can do the things I love.”

Lindsey has various injuries throughout her skiing career and she is going through numerous surgeries to mend them.

Fans are supporting Lindsey Vonn and wishing her a speedy recovery.

One fan wrote, “Heart of a lioness ?.”

Another fan added, “Stay strong ??.”

A fan who also faced injury said, “For 15 years my greatest fear was tearing my ACL again, and it finally happened. But seeing how many times you’ve picked yourself up, and continuing to do what you love has brought me peace that being afraid of these things shouldn’t stop me from doing what I love. We just need to continue to work hard and pick ourselves up every time we fall!”

Another supporter wrote, “Believe me Lindsey I understand your pain after going thru Rotator Cup surgery in March I’m still doing my PT and hopefully I’ll be ready to actually use my Ikon Pass this season ! Hell well girl!❤️”

Everyone’s thoughts are with Lindsey Vonn as she recovers from her surgery.

We wish you a speedy recovery, Lindsey!
