Lindsay Shiver, an Auburn Cheerleader was Arrested for a Murder Plot

A piece of recent news hit the sports world hard recently. Lindsay Shiver who is an Auburn Cheerleader was arrested in the Bahamas for a murder plot against her husband. 

Lindsay and Robert Shiver were together from school and later got married. They also had many children together. Robert was an Auburn long snapper for a two-year from 2006-2008 and then in 2009, he joined Atlanta Falcons. 

Robert was found dead and later it was found that it wasn’t a suicide but a murder. The culprit was still unknown but recently it came to know that his own wife Lindsay and her purported lover Terrance Bethel plotted against Robert to kill him so they can live together according to the reports from Bahamas Court News.  

Bethel apparently involved a third person, and then all three were busted during an investigation into an unrelated crime.

“Local police unearthed texts that detailed the plot while they searched the phone of a suspected burglar at Grabber’s Bar and Grill in Great Guana Cay in the Bahamas earlier this month,” the New York Post reported.

Robert and Lindsay are said to own a house in the Bahamas, near where she met Bethel, a person with details about the case told the Thomasville Times-Enterprise.

When Robert found out about the affair, he filed for divorce.
